Description
Allegheny County Health Department is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of approximately 500 cases of RiVive naloxone nasal spray from Harm Reduction Therapeutics. Each case contains 24 twin-packs, and the specified product is an FDA-approved, over-the-counter nasal spray containing 3 mg of naloxone hydrochloride for reversal of known or suspected opioid overdoses, including fentanyl overdoses. Equal products may be proposed if they are of equivalent character and quality; bidders must identify the manufacturer and catalog reference for any alternate. The County will purchase the product as needed during the contract period, with deliveries on agreed-upon days one to two days per week. Bidders must submit pricing electronically and complete the required bid, vendor, veteran-owned-business, MWDBE, EEO, general-conditions, sustainability, and other solicitation documents. The solicitation also requires specified insurance coverage, proof of veteran ownership and DD 214 documentation, and a Material Safety Data Sheet for each hazardous substance or mixture supplied.
