SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase ophthalmic products from Bausch & Lomb Americas Inc. under GPO Vizient Contract MS1077, which runs from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2027. The procurement is being conducted under New York State Finance Law authority permitting commodity purchases through a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent products may contact the procurement officer to discuss the procurement. A successful contractor must complete and submit Vendor Responsibility documentation, documentation related to New York State Finance Law Section 139 and New York State Tax Law Section 5-a, and current New York State Workers’ Compensation and Disability forms. The notice identifies Bausch & Lomb as having received an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years.
