Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capability information for a potential nationwide indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract covering inpatient pharmacy automation systems and automated unit-dose repackaging systems. The scope includes automated dispensing cabinets, drug storage carousels, anesthesia stations, controlled-substance safes, medication refrigerators, IV preparation systems, auxiliary equipment, pill packagers, canisters, trays, calibration systems, software, licenses, interfaces, and related accessories. Required capabilities include integration with VistA, Oracle Health/Cerner, pharmacy information systems, and other medication-management systems; enterprise reporting; inventory and audit controls; barcode and patient-specific labeling; electronic health record integration; cybersecurity and enterprise risk assessment support; installation, relocation, configuration, validation, training, and professional services; and warranty, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, parts, software updates, and technical support. The response must include a capability statement addressing the specified technical questions, company and administrative information, relevant experience, recommended contract type, and responses to the two eligibility questions. Responses are limited to 10 pages excluding the General Information section and must be submitted in Microsoft Word format using 12-point text; marketing materials are not permitted.
