Description
The California Department of State Hospitals is conducting market research to identify licensed compounding pharmacies capable of providing sterile intramuscular compound clozapine for patient care across its five-hospital statewide system. Respondents should describe their pharmacy licensure, including Licensed Sterile Compounding or Class E-S designation; compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800>; staffing and relevant expertise; quality management practices; environmental monitoring; potency and sterility testing; batch documentation; and secure, temperature-controlled delivery capabilities. Responses should include the respondent's business focus, relevant certifications and experience, experience with forensic psychiatric facilities or large healthcare systems, experience doing business with California, recommendations regarding the stated minimum qualifications, estimated service costs, and any other relevant information. The RFI is for planning and market research only and is not a solicitation for services. An optional preferred capability is expedited or emergency delivery for urgent clinical situations.
