Description
Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania is soliciting a general contractor for the Haas Auditorium roof replacement at its Bloomsburg Campus. The work covers the stage and north-side roof areas and includes demolition of the existing roofing and insulation, concrete-deck preparation, new tapered polyisocyanurate insulation, a 90-mil fully adhered EPDM membrane roofing system, flashings, parapet and fascia work, roof drains, pipe insulation, roof hatches, safety railings, and related patching and restoration. The project is structured as a separate-prime construction contract, with the general contractor serving as lead prime and coordinating the other primes. The estimated general-construction cost range is $550,000 to $600,000. Prevailing wages apply. Bidders must submit the completed bid form, a performance plan with a bar-chart schedule and workforce requirements, an AIA A305 Contractor's Qualification Statement, a quality-control plan, a safety plan, and the required resumes and supporting information through the electronic procurement portal. The apparent low bidder may later be asked for original hard copies, but bid security is not required.
