Monroe County is soliciting sealed bids for the supply and delivery of No. 2 fuel oil to seven County facilities in Stroudsburg, Snydersville, and Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania. Estimated quantities include 3,500 gallons for the former County Jail Building and Annex, 49,000 gallons for the County Correctional Facility and Maintenance Shed, 1,500 gallons for Magisterial District Justice Mancuso, and additional fuel on an as-needed basis for generators and other facilities. Deliveries must be arranged on an agreed schedule, accompanied by metered delivery tickets, and available on a 24-hour emergency basis upon request. Bidders may offer fixed pricing per gallon or fluctuating pricing based on supplier costs, including a fluctuating-price option capped at 20 percent. The fuel must meet the stated quality requirements. The contract period is January 1 through December 31, 2027. A certificate of insurance is required from the successful bidder, while bid security and a performance bond are expressly not required.
