Description
American Legion Post 673 is seeking bids for construction of a new 3,276-square-foot public assembly building at 121 North Main Street, Ashley Borough, Pennsylvania. The project includes site work and replacement of the existing facility, which must remain in place until operations transition to the new building. The project is privately funded and requires bonding and contract award documents. Amendment No. 2 adds commercial floor-system requirements for an 18-foot span and a 100-psf live load, with engineered I-joists, open-web floor trusses, or laminated veneer lumber composite systems permitted. The specifications also require high-density structural subfloor panels with tongue-and-groove joints and commercial SPC finished flooring with a 20- to 28-mil wear layer, acoustic backing, appropriate underlayment, vapor-barrier, expansion-gap, and curing requirements. Supplemental electrical plans are also included.
