Description
Monroe County is soliciting bids for snow removal services at various county facilities during the 2027 calendar year. The scope includes snowplowing, snow removal, cindering, sodium chloride and calcium chloride application, and clearing and treating walkways. The contractor must provide all required equipment and manpower, maintain safe operations beginning by 7:00 a.m. and throughout the day as necessary, and service the Public Safety Center, Administrative Center parking deck and lot, Former Jail Parking Lot, and Loder Senior Center. The successful bidder must have been in business for at least three years, provide three similar-service business references, visit each service location, and provide proof of automobile, general liability, and workers' compensation insurance. Three un-stapled copies of the completed proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027; bid security and a performance bond are not required.
