Description
The Housing Authority of Monroe County is soliciting bids for lock repairs and the furnishing and installation of door hardware at various housing properties. The work includes labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to replace finish hardware, including handsets, deadbolts, interchangeable cores, and keys. Hardware must be coordinated with the owner's existing master-key system, and the contractor must provide specified master, control, change, and unit keys. The project includes approximately 285 hardware sets with material and installation across Hawthorne Terrace, Garden Street, Avon Court, Lenox Avenue, North Kistler Street, and Barnum Street. The documents also identify a preliminary estimated construction cost of $216,600. The contractor must coordinate access and scheduling with the Housing Authority, protect adjacent property, submit product and warranty data, and provide a one-year manufacturer's warranty.
