Description
The U.S. Army is procuring one small, portable rotary drill rig, one drilling accessories and tooling kit, one tow-behind air compressor, and one rig spare parts kit. The drill rig must meet specified dimensional, engine, hydraulic, rotary-head, depth-capacity, winch, mast, soil-sampling, and mounting requirements, including an 80- to 100-foot drilling capacity and standard SPT autohammer soil-sampling system. The tooling kit must include 65 five-foot RAB drill rods, 60 feet of augers, a down-the-hole hammer, assorted bits and cutting heads, sub-adapters, and necessary spare parts. The compressor must provide at least 175 PSI and 300 CFM in a tow-behind configuration; the spare-parts kit must include a hydraulic pump, replacement hoses, and spare bits. The award is expected to be a firm-fixed-price contract using a lowest-price-technically-acceptable evaluation. Offers must include a technical proposal with detailed specifications demonstrating compliance and a proposed delivery schedule, as well as pricing for each line item and the total price. Delivery is required no later than November 30, 2026, followed by a 15-business-day inspection period. Equipment warranty requirements apply; no government-furnished equipment, fuel, personnel, utilities, or facilities will be provided.
