Description
Galena Park Independent School District is establishing a non-exclusive, multi-award pool of vendors for as-needed purchases over a five-year initial contract term. The scope includes general merchandise and retail-related products and services, restaurant catering, and food truck or trailer catering. The District may issue purchase orders for indefinite quantities and will evaluate vendors periodically, making awards to multiple vendors throughout the contract period. Food vendors must comply with applicable Houston and Texas health requirements, maintain required permits, prepare and transport food in accordance with applicable temperature and sanitation rules, use sealed food-quality containers and approved insulated transport containers, and provide freshly prepared products. Vendors may submit catalog, menu, manufacturer price-list, website, or shelf-price discounts. The solicitation also requires specified certifications, references, corporate information, pricing, and other response attributes; applicable vendors must provide food-handling permits and criminal-history certifications for covered service employees.
