Description
The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region 6, is soliciting eight Steelcase Think chairs, eight workstation chairs, eight control console units, and one conference table to refresh its Regional Watch Center furniture for 24/7/365 operations. Brand-name-or-equal products are permitted, provided equal products meet or exceed the solicitation's salient characteristics. All products must be new and comply with applicable ANSI/BIFMA performance standards and specified flame-spread and fire-rating requirements. The contractor must provide all furniture components, hardware, materials, labor, equipment, supervision, delivery, assembly, installation, positioning, configuration, warranty documentation, and cleanup. The scope also includes removing and relocating existing furniture and chairs to the on-campus East Storage Shed, coordinating delivery and installation with the Government, and removing all packaging, debris, pallets, wrapping, surplus materials, and waste from the site. Contractor personnel must comply with facility-access, security, conduct, safety, and site-use requirements, and final acceptance will follow Government inspection confirming that the items are installed, functional, and compliant.
