Description
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and construction services necessary to remove and replace the HVAC system serving Fisher House 1. The scope includes three outdoor condenser units, three air-handling units, ductwork, associated refrigerant piping, wall controls, bedroom thermostats, a central control for common areas, new condensate drainage with P-traps and float switches, pressure testing, equipment-location modifications, cleanup, and disposal of removed components. The contractor must also demolish the existing boiler, boiler buddy, and associated boiler-system components. The work includes coordination with the facility, applicable codes and OSHA requirements, infection-control and dust-control measures, permits, a one-year warranty, commissioning, operations and maintenance manuals, on-site operations and maintenance training, record drawings, weekly progress reports, quality-control and safety plans, and a full-time superintendent during project work. The solicitation is a firm-fixed-price construction requirement with a stated magnitude between $250,000 and $500,000 and a 420-calendar-day period of performance after notice to proceed. Amendment 0005 extends the offer deadline to September 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. CDT and provides responses to requests for information, including the Laars Mighty Therm boiler manual.
