Description
The City of Fort Worth is seeking a one-time purchase of a new laboratory autoclave sterilizer system for bacteriological testing at its Water Department. The required system is a free-standing, single-chamber unit with an integrated boiler, an approximately 8.8-cubic-foot chamber, programmable controls, an incorporated thermal printer, automatic generator blowdown, automatic idle shutoff, and temperature and pressure sensors capable of three-point calibration. The specified reference model is the Consolidated Sterilizer System Steam Sterilizer Model SSR-3A, although equivalent products are permitted from authorized representatives. Pricing must include removal of the City's existing unit, installation of the new unit, training, freight, and initial setup. The system must be new and unused, include a minimum one-year parts-and-labor warranty, and have readily available replacement parts and authorized service support. The bidder must provide manufacturer and model information, product literature demonstrating compliance, and an official warranty statement. Quotes will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
