Description
The City seeks a qualified roofing contractor to restore the existing roof at Heritage Park. Work includes testing drains; removing walk pads and debris; pressure washing and drying the roof; repairing flashings, membrane defects, insulation, penetrations, and metal components; and applying a fluid-applied roofing system with embedded polyester reinforcement and reflective coating. The roofing system is specified as Garland LiquiTec or an equal, and the contractor must be approved by the roofing-system manufacturer. The specifications also require a full-time on-site supervisor, at least three manufacturer inspections per week, inspection reports, and final manufacturer acceptance. The contractor must provide a 15-year manufacturer labor-and-material warranty and a five-year contractor workmanship warranty. The bid package requires a 10% bid guarantee; payment and performance bonds of 100% of the contract amount are required from the successful bidder at contract execution. The estimated project value is $99,000, and the stated completion period is 20 working days from the Notice to Proceed. Bids are submitted electronically, and attendance at the mandatory pre-bid site visit is required to qualify to bid.
