Description
The City seeks a professional engineering consultant to prepare plans, specifications, and an engineer’s estimate for a new traffic signal and related intersection improvements. Anticipated work includes roadway modifications, curb ramp improvements, signing and striping, utility coordination and relocations, topographic survey and base mapping, geotechnical pavement analysis, signal timing plans, and coordination with participating agencies. The design includes widening the southeast quadrant and installing fiber in an existing conduit for signal interconnection. The consultant will support project development through design reviews at 35%, 65%, and 90–100%, agency approvals, bidding, and limited construction support. Proposal materials must include a detailed fee schedule in a separate envelope, and the requested services include project management, field review, survey, utility coordination, and responses to bidder questions and construction RFIs. Optional signal timing services are to be separately priced and performed only with written authorization.
