Description
The California Air Resources Board is soliciting quotes for a 22 IDEX V4 3D printer and related equipment and supplies to fabricate custom components, fixtures, and attachments for off-road vehicle testing. The requested package includes a production pack with a vacuum chamber and pump, an industrial vacuum oven, a fume extractor with particulate, HEPA, and chemical filters, and specified quantities of PEKK, polycarbonate, ABS, TPU, high-temperature support, and PEI filament. Comparable products may be offered, subject to the agency’s approval of substitutions or deviations. The printer must support high-temperature engineering materials and common prototyping thermoplastics, have an open material system and open-source slicer software, and meet the stated size, power, and data-interface requirements. The vendor must provide user and calibration guides. Products are to be delivered within 45 working days after receipt of the purchase order; the fume extractor equipment must be operational and meet manufacturer requirements upon on-site startup and commissioning. The quote must include freight and handling in the unit prices.
