Description
Jackson County, Missouri's Housing Resources Commission is seeking proposals for 2025 funding for homeless services benefiting individuals and families in Jackson County. Eligible activities include transitional living and bed nights; emergency shelter; rental, mortgage, utility, food, and prepared-meal assistance; case management; counseling; youth, women and children, domestic violence, and substance-abuse services; foster-care transition; and homelessness prevention. Applicants must explain the use of any food or clothing category and may request up to $15,000. County payments will be made quarterly after receipt of invoices and interim reports, and the contract term is twelve months. Proposals must include a program application and proposal, pricing, agency and financial information, program description, target population and outcomes, at least three examples of similar work for other local municipalities, at least three professional references, certifications/licensing/insurance documentation, and the listed purchasing forms. The response must be submitted electronically through the Jackson County Bonfire Portal. The Affidavit must be notarized; a Certificate of Compliance must be obtained through the County Compliance Review Office at least five business days before the response deadline. A W-9, addenda acknowledgment, bidder exceptions, Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area Information Memo, two dedicated email addresses, and conditional M/W/VBE and Responsible Bidder documents are also required as applicable.
