Description
Hillsborough County Aviation Authority seeks a contractor to replace ten packaged air-conditioning units serving elevator lobbies and elevator machine rooms in the North and South Economy Parking Garages at Tampa International Airport. The project includes six units in the South Garage and four in the North Garage, together with associated demolition, installation, ductwork, electrical work, testing, balancing, commissioning, and coordination with airport operations. The existing units were installed in 2005 and 2008 and have exceeded their typical 15-year service life. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference and site inspection, complete the Respondent Questionnaire and required bid forms, and provide bid security, financial statements, a qualifying contractor's license, and other certifications and documentation. The bid schedule includes a $40,000 owner's allowance for unforeseen work and related conditions. Addendum No. 3 changed the bid deadline to October 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time and requires acknowledgment of the addendum.
