Description
Hillsborough County is soliciting a contractor to provide ongoing and as-needed rental of traffic control devices, including signs, barricades, drums, traffic cones, flashing arrow boards, variable message boards, water barriers, and Jersey barriers. The scope includes delivery, setup, maintenance and servicing, emergency and after-hours response, relocation, and standard or emergency pickup at County-designated locations. The contractor must provide devices conforming to applicable Florida Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices standards. The contract is for a three-year period, with orders issued on an as-needed basis and no guaranteed minimum purchase. The contractor must have at least one employee certified by the Florida Department of Transportation in Advanced Maintenance of Traffic, provide required maintenance-of-traffic services for applicable roadway placements, and maintain availability 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The estimated project value is $688,970. Bid award will be made to a single lowest responsive and responsible bidder submitting pricing for all line items.
