Description
The City of Tampa is soliciting sealed bids for a broad range of traffic signs and related products to be supplied on an as-needed, when-needed basis for its Mobility Department/Operations Division and other City departments. The 70 line items include regulatory, warning, school-zone, pedestrian, railroad, detour, road-closure, speed-limit, and directional signs, as well as sign stands, heavy-duty braces, and nonreflective mesh roll-up signs. Signs must generally use 5052-H38 aluminum or equivalent, be predrilled, fabricated to applicable Florida Department of Transportation specifications, and use reflective sheeting meeting the specified ASTM, FDOT, and MUTCD requirements. The award includes a one-year initial period, two optional one-year renewals, and possible additional 30-day extensions. Deliveries are generally required within five working days after receipt of order, with original factory packaging and delivery to the requesting facility or location specified on the purchase order. Bidders must submit pricing electronically, complete the required vendor-response fields, and provide the required DMI-10 and DMI-20 subcontracting forms and Bidder's Affidavit; DMI-40 is due only after award if subcontractors will be used.
