Description
Hillsborough County seeks one qualified contractor for an as-needed, unit-price term contract covering roadway milling and resurfacing, Superpave asphaltic concrete structural and friction courses, preservation treatments, and full-depth reclamation. Related work may include curb and ADA ramp modifications, speed-hump replacement, grading, sodding, irrigation repairs, utility and municipal coordination, maintenance of traffic, pavement markings, signing, cleanup, and restoration at various locations in Districts 1 and 2. The contract is estimated at $16,000,000 and includes a $1,000,000 allowance for non-priced items. The initial term is two years, with one additional two-year renewal option at the County's discretion. The contractor must be FDOT-prequalified in milling, flexible paving, and hot plant-mixed bituminous courses; the contractor or subcontractors must hold applicable specialty qualifications. A 5% SBE subcontracting goal applies. Required bid materials include the electronic bid-table and questionnaire responses, bid bond, foreign-country-of-concern affidavit, Florida Trench Safety certification, SBE-1 form, SBE letters of intent and certifications, FDOT qualification certifications, licenses and certifications, corporate resolution, and required insurance documentation.
