Description
Hillsborough County intends to make a sole-source award to Nextran Corporation d/b/a Nextran Truck Centers - Tampa for ongoing and as-needed maintenance, repairs, and supply of Original Equipment Manufacturer parts for the County's Mack-branded trucks. Services must be performed by factory-trained personnel using proprietary Mack diagnostic systems and must comply with technical standards, negotiated pricing, and warranty requirements. The procurement covers a one-year period and has an estimated value of $250,000, including estimated labor and parts and miscellaneous allowances. The County may extend the period, adjust the scope, and increase the resulting award. This is a notice of intent rather than a request for competitive proposals; interested contractors may submit clear and convincing information challenging the intended sole-source award.
