Description
The City of Tampa is soliciting bids for comprehensive pedestrian barricade (bicycle rack) management services for annual parades and special events. The scope includes delivery, transport, installation, on-site supervision and support, joint inspection, dismantling, and prompt removal. Bidders may price two options: providing their own barricades and transport equipment, or using the City's approximately 600 barricades while supplying transport equipment and assuming responsibility for the City's inventory. The solicitation includes event-specific linear-foot pricing, temporary six-foot panels with bases, sandbags, and windscreens when required, and operational requirements for advance deployment, event retrieval, safety procedures, personnel qualifications, equipment inventories, client references, and proof of ownership of at least 1,500 barricades for Option 1. The resulting award has a one-year initial term with four additional one-year renewal periods. Bidders must submit the required vendor responses, forms, references, personnel roster, equipment documentation, safety-program materials, and applicable licenses or certifications through the electronic procurement portal.
