Description
Hillsborough County seeks one or more qualified professional engineering consultants to supplement its stormwater engineering staff and provide specialized technical support. The scope includes watershed management plan and model updates; road flood-protection level-of-service determinations; preliminary engineering reports; project development and environmental studies; GIS and model-data maintenance; capital improvement project reviews; design and specifications; environmental permitting; project management; groundwater and water-quality modeling; floodplain and floodway delineations and updates; FEMA and National Flood Insurance Program support; drainage and pump-station analysis; surveys and mapping; wetland delineations; flood investigations; mitigation and grant support; and related stormwater program services. The County anticipates selecting multiple firms for individually negotiated work orders under continuing professional-services contracts. The solicitation states a three-year contract term, with a possible one-year renewal, and maximum compensation of $14,000,000 across the term. Respondents must hold an active Florida engineering license; surveying and mapping certification may be provided by a subconsultant. Required response materials include the proposal, Standard Form 330 Part II, the foreign-country-of-concern affidavit, insurance documentation, DBPR license status, Florida Division of Corporations status certification, and the County's required questionnaire; SBE bonus-point materials are optional and conditional.
