Description
Hillsborough County is soliciting competitive sealed bids for an undefined-quantity, as-needed term contract covering moderately complex construction and renovation at various County facilities and sites. Work may include interior and exterior building repairs and renovations, reroofing, site work, utilities, landscaping, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and special construction. Work orders will generally range from $10,000 to $150,000, although larger or smaller orders may be issued, and multiple work orders may be performed concurrently. The contract uses RSMeans unit pricing and a bidder-provided multiplier. The County may award up to three contracts, with maximum award amounts of $6,000,000, $5,500,000, and $5,000,000; the solicitation's potential project list totals $16,500,000, but actual work is not guaranteed. The initial contract period is two years, with one optional two-year renewal. A 10% Small Business Enterprise subcontracting goal applies. Bidders must provide a bid bond, insurance documentation, SBE participation materials, a corporate resolution, required licenses and certifications, and the required electronic bid-system questionnaires and bid table.
