Description
The City of Tampa is soliciting sealed bids for Contract 26-C-00018, Gunlock Pump Station Force Main Replacement. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, and equipment to install approximately 2,500 linear feet of 10-inch PVC force main, including approximately 219 linear feet of direct-buried C900 PVC and approximately 2,275 linear feet of Certa-Lok or fusible PVC installed by horizontal directional drilling. The scope also includes force-main interconnections, maintenance of traffic, asphalt pavement and concrete driveway restoration, curb and gutter work, lawn replacement with St. Augustine sod, air-release valve assemblies, valves, fittings, testing, and project videotaping. The estimated project cost is $600,000, with a $50,000 contingency included in the proposal. The work must be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days from the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit the prescribed Proposal and required City forms, including the Attestation of Compliance, DMI-10, DMI-20, and DMI-50 forms, along with the required bid security and supporting good-faith-effort documentation for the 13% SLBE subcontracting goal. A public construction bond equal to 100% of the contract price and required insurance are required after award or before performance as specified in the solicitation.
