Description
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, doing business as Cincinnati Metro, is establishing a pre-qualified pool of licensed and insured contractors for on-call, as-needed facility plumbing repair, rehabilitation, maintenance, and related utility services. Work will be issued through individual job orders under an indefinite-quantity, time-and-materials structure, with no guaranteed minimum volume or contract value and one or more contracts potentially awarded. The scope includes hydro-flushing and high-pressure jetting; septic system pumping, maintenance, repair, and replacement; sewer, water, and wastewater video inspections; pipe and utility locating; potable-water and wastewater system repair, replacement, and installation; horizontal directional drilling and trenchless pipe installation; cured-in-place pipe rehabilitation; backflow prevention devices; gas lines; potable-water wells; restroom and shower plumbing; emergency response; excavation, backfill, and surface restoration. Contractors must provide qualified personnel, equipment, tools, and materials; maintain required licenses and insurance; respond within 48 hours to non-emergency requests and within two hours to emergency requests; comply with prevailing-wage requirements; and provide a 24/7 emergency contact number. The contract term is three years.
