Description
This opportunity is for a prequalified plumbing subcontractor to furnish and install all labor, materials, fixtures, pipe, and equipment required for Bid Package 16 of the Acosta Operations Center renovation. The scope includes plumbing fixtures; piping, vents, traps, hub drains, cleanouts, trap primers, and drip pans; firestopping; relocation and rerouting of existing plumbing piping; sawcutting and replacement of stainless-steel lines; and piping insulation. Work will occur in an occupied building and may require phased, night, or weekend work to maintain facility operations. The estimated construction cost is $135,875.00. Only the four subcontractors listed in the solicitation are eligible to bid, and the successful bidder must hold an active California C-36 Plumbing Contractor license, comply with prevailing-wage and Department of Industrial Relations requirements, and submit through BuildingConnected. The successful subcontractor will contract directly with Suffolk Construction Company, Inc., the construction manager at risk.
