Description
The U.S. General Services Administration is seeking capable providers for performance-based maintenance of elevator equipment at the Potter Stewart U.S. Courthouse, John Weld Peck Federal Building, and FDA-National Forensic Chemistry Center. The equipment includes passenger and freight elevators, hydraulic and traction systems, and a chair lift. The contractor would provide management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools, scheduling, coordination, and all services necessary to maintain safe, efficient operation in accordance with applicable federal, state, county, and city laws, nationally recognized codes and standards, energy-conservation requirements, and OSHA practices. This notice is a sources-sought request for market research, not a solicitation or request for proposal. Respondents must provide company and point-of-contact information, UEI and NAICS codes, a capability statement, three customer references for similar elevator-maintenance work, and responses concerning business size and socioeconomic status.
