Description
The City of Cincinnati is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of approximately 46,507 square yards of roadway on 4th Street from Pike Street to Central Avenue and Eggleston Avenue from Pete Rose Way to Court Street. Work includes pavement removal and repairs, asphalt planing and resurfacing, longitudinal joint stabilization, concrete bus pads, curb and gutter repairs, curb ramps with detectable warnings, sidewalks, driveways, drainage and utility casting adjustments, conduit and inlet work, erosion control, and restoration of disturbed areas. The contractor must maintain traffic and pedestrian access, provide temporary and permanent pavement markings, raised pavement markers, traffic signal loop detector replacement, stop-line radar detection, field office and portable sanitation facilities, project communications, and required traffic control. The project is federally funded and subject to ODOT requirements, Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, Buy America requirements, a 7% ODOT Small Business Enterprise goal, ODOT prequalification, performance and payment bonding, insurance, and extensive electronic forms and compliance documentation. Substantial completion is required by October 1, 2027.
