Description
The Liberty County School System is soliciting a contractor to demolish the existing Peerless 211A-16-N hot-water boiler and furnish and install new condensing hot-water boiler equipment. The work includes boiler pumps, hot-water piping, gas piping and venting, equipment pads, insulation, chemical water treatment, carbon-monoxide detection, emergency-stop controls, boiler controls, sensors, electrical connections, and integration with the building control systems. The contractor must balance the existing hot-water system, perform testing and commissioning, provide required permits and inspections, and furnish operation and maintenance information. The bid package requires a Georgia contractor's license, bid security, financial and insurance/bonding documentation, comparable construction references, and completion of Forms 1 through 9. The award is expected to be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder within the budget.
