Description
Granite School District is soliciting an annual, as-needed contract for comprehensive inspection and evaluation of stage rigging, fly systems, and related equipment at 25 school and facility locations, including 17 dead-hung systems and 8 counterweight/fly systems. The contractor must furnish the labor, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and incidentals needed to perform the work using qualified personnel experienced with theatrical stage rigging systems. Services include inspections in accordance with ANSI E1.47 and applicable entertainment-industry, safety, building, fire, and occupational requirements; comprehensive written reports for each location with photographs, findings, corrective-action recommendations, inspector qualifications, and identification of issues requiring engineering or specialty review; immediate notification of significant safety hazards; and approved minor repairs at the stated hourly rate. The contractor must demonstrate at least three years of similar experience, complete all inspections within no more than 30 days under a mutually agreed schedule, and maintain required licensing and insurance. The contract is anticipated to run through October 31, 2027, with annual renewal options through October 31, 2031.
