Description
The Jordan Basin Improvement District is soliciting bids from only contractors prequalified for the Multiple Mountain View Corridor Sewer Projects. The work includes approximately 500 linear feet of 18-inch PVC sanitary sewer, three sanitary sewer manholes, a 434-foot guided bore beneath Mountain View Corridor using a minimum 36-inch steel casing, and associated excavation, shoring, traffic control, bypass pumping, restoration, instrumentation, grouting, and carrier-pipe installation. The bid package requires completion of the online Schedule of Prices and submission of the Information Required of Bidder, Bid, Bid Schedule, and Bid Bond. The Information Required of Bidder must be sworn and notarized and includes contractor licensing, project personnel, current work, subcontractors, suppliers, and qualifications for the trenchless guided-bore work. A bid bond equal to 5% of the bid price is required. The proposed contract requires substantial completion by June 1, 2027, final completion by July 1, 2027, and performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract price after award.
