Description
Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms for the FY 26/27 Water Line Replacements Project. The work covers approximately 27,900 linear feet of water main replacement across six locations in Salt Lake City, Millcreek, and Holladay, including hydraulic evaluation, surveying and mapping, utility investigation, geotechnical and corrosion review, seismic and geologic hazard analysis, alternatives analysis, permitting, design, cost estimating, and preparation of stamped and sealed plans and specifications. The selected consultant will also provide bidding support, contractor prequalification review, pre-bid meeting support, bid review, construction administration, responses to submittals and RFIs, change-order support, commissioning, as-built drawings, project closeout, and public engagement. The initial construction bid package is expected to be ready for advertisement in March 2027 and is estimated at $6–8 million. The Statement of Qualifications is limited to 10 pages, excluding resumes, and must include firm and key-personnel qualifications, similar project experience, references, project understanding, agreement compliance, exceptions, electronic-payment information, and required ethics acknowledgments.
