Description
Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services is soliciting proposals for vendor-hosted transportation scheduling software to support its Rides for Wellness program, which provides medical transportation to adults age 60 and older. The program operates 25 vehicles and provides approximately 3,000 monthly rides, with anticipated users including administrative staff, dispatchers, reservationists, and drivers using tablets. The proposed solution must address extensive functional and technical requirements, including reservation and fleet management, driver and dispatcher communication, GPS and mapping, automated ride optimization, manifests and reporting, role-based access, data retention, HIPAA and privacy compliance, encryption, integrations, backups, disaster recovery, and web hosting. The scope also includes implementation, data conversion, training, project management, technical support, maintenance, and upgrades. The initial agreement term is two years with four two-year renewal periods. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of experience providing transportation scheduling software and submit program, pricing, and optional supplemental attachment PDFs through the online solicitation system.
