Salt Lake County seeks a contractor to provide quarterly scheduled and as-needed on-site preventive maintenance, diagnostic services, repairs, and replacement parts for commercial laundry equipment at the Adult Detention Center and Oxbow Jail. The equipment includes Milnor, UniMac, and Huebsch washers and dryers. The contractor must supply the labor and parts necessary to keep the equipment operational, service all authorized machines during each preventive-maintenance visit, and perform inspections, lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, and minor repairs. The contract also requires next-business-day on-site diagnostic availability and 24/7/365 on-site emergency service within 10 hours. Repairs beyond preventive maintenance require a written firm quote and County purchase-order authorization. New OEM parts are required unless the County approves non-OEM or used parts. Off-site repairs may be authorized case by case, while equipment replacement is outside the scope of this contract.
