Description
Montgomery County, Ohio is requesting bids for the removal of two multi-floor escalators and their replacement with ornamental stairs in the Montgomery County Administration Building. The project also includes improvements to the Plaza, Mezzanine, and Lower-Level Lobbies, including new flooring, wallcoverings, ceilings, lighting, HVAC updates, exit lights, fire alarm devices and relays, door-hold power, area-of-refuge two-way communications, emergency lighting, and related electrical modifications. The Engineer's Estimate is $3,043,300.00, consisting of a $2,243,700.00 base bid and a $799,600.00 alternate for Mezzanine and Lower-Level Lobby Renovation. Bids must be submitted electronically through the County's OpenGov Procurement portal and include the required bid guaranty, forms, qualifications, disclosures, certifications, and other proposal information. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting and site tour is required. The project has an estimated Substantial Completion Date of October 31, 2027.
