Description
Alabama Community College Systems is soliciting sealed proposals from previously prequalified general contractors for mechanical equipment relocation at Drake State Technical Community College. The work is locally funded and requires bidders to be properly licensed under Alabama general-contractor licensing requirements. The bid must exclude taxes and include the required ACCS Form 5-A Accounting of Sales Tax Attachment to ACCS Form 5-E Proposal Form. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Alabama Community College Systems, in an amount of at least 5% of the bid but not more than $10,000, must accompany the proposal. If awarded, the contractor must provide performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds, as well as compliant insurance. Bid documents will be distributed electronically by the architect only to prequalified general contractors.
