Description
The Société d’habitation et de développement de Montréal is soliciting fixed-price construction bids to replace ventilation systems at 10211 Rue Meilleur, 2615 Boulevard Henri-Bourassa Est, and 10690 Rue Francis in Montreal. The work includes demolition of existing equipment; furnishing and installing new equipment; mechanical, electrical, and controls connections; required duct modifications; and system testing, commissioning, and balancing. Award will be based on the lowest proposed price. The bid must include a 10% bid security, a 50% performance bond, and a 50% payment bond. The estimated contract period is six months. Insurance requirements apply upon contract award, including at least $5 million in general liability and $5 million in wrap-up liability, as well as all-risk construction and equipment-breakdown insurance.
