Description
Brighton Central School District is soliciting separate prime bids for Phase 1 of its 2026 Capital Improvement Project. Contract opportunities include General Trades (401), Mechanical (402), Plumbing (403), Electrical (404), and Day Automation/DDC Controls (405). Work is to begin after contract execution and must be continuously and diligently prosecuted. Bidders must comply with the Instructions to Bidders and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders, including qualification requirements, bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, litigation and arbitration disclosures, a surety statement of intent to issue performance and payment bonds, and descriptions of comparable completed projects. Each bid requires a 5% bid bond or certified check, and the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds. Bids must be submitted on the provided form in duplicate, with separate sealed envelopes for each contract bid.
