Description
The California Department of Water Resources is soliciting transcription services for its Office of Civil Rights and Internal Audit Office. The contractor will transcribe digitally recorded audio and/or video interviews used in workplace investigations and witness interviews, provide accurate and searchable transcripts in Microsoft Word or PDF format, and deliver them through email and/or a customer portal using direct electronic file transfer. Standard turnaround may range from 24 hours to 14 calendar days, with expedited services available upon request. The contractor must return submitted recordings after transcription, provide written recording-submission and status-update procedures, correct typographical errors within five business days of notice, and may not use artificial intelligence or generative artificial intelligence tools for the transcription work. Bidders must provide transcription personnel meeting specified certification and experience requirements, including at least one year of paid professional electronic reporting or transcription experience and an accepted certification or California license. The bid is priced per transcription page across six turnaround categories. The agreement is anticipated to run for three years, and the work will be performed at the contractor’s facility.
