Description
High Point Christian Academy is soliciting vendor bids for a Category 2 internal-connections upgrade. The project includes upgrading 10 existing OM1 fiber runs to OS2, totaling approximately 6,000 feet, with required patch cords, licenses, brackets, support, Ubiquiti SFP modules, and other items necessary to complete the upgrade. The attached specifications identify multiple runs between school buildings and rooms, including a potentially direct-buried segment. The school has two Ubiquiti Building-to-Building Bridge XG units that must be installed to connect the high school and an auxiliary vault before the fiber is installed. The design requires two connections per run for failover, four connections between specified rooms, and junction boxes at designated junction points. Installation must be quoted as a separate line-item option. Bids must be specific to this application, identify non-E-Rate-eligible items, and be submitted in PDF, Word, or Excel format; bids obtained by following a link will not be considered.
