Description

The Bureau of Reclamation requires replacement of two existing roof-mounted electric dual-heat and air-conditioning systems serving Buildings 100 and 200 at Planet Ranch Conservation Area. The contractor must inspect existing systems and site conditions; recommend replacement options; furnish and install two Energy Star-rated or Federal Energy Management Program-compliant ground-mounted HVAC units; install compatible air handlers, evaporator coils, insulated metal ductwork, refrigerant piping, electrical components, disconnects, wiring, and thermostats; and perform operational testing and calibration. The work also includes removing and legally disposing of the existing units and project waste, repairing roof areas affected by removal, constructing reinforced concrete equipment pads, obtaining required permits, restoring disturbed areas, and providing design, construction, safety, quality-control, schedule, and environmental documentation. Amendment 01 adds FAR 52.228-13 Alternative Payment Protections and revises Section 7 of the Statement of Work. The project is a 100% small-business set-aside with an estimated magnitude of $100,000 to $200,000 and is contemplated as one firm-fixed-price purchase order. Delivery and installation are required within 90 days after award, with all work completed by January 31, 2027.
