Description
The City of Kingman is soliciting proposals for a long-term ground lease of approximately 79,040 square feet of land and an existing 960-square-foot office building at Kingman Municipal Airport. The selected lessee must use the premises primarily for aeronautical purposes and accept the property in its existing condition. The lessee will be responsible for designing, permitting, financing, and constructing a new hangar and related improvements, obtaining required City, county, FAA, and environmental approvals, and operating and maintaining the premises in compliance with airport standards and applicable laws. Proposals must describe intended operations, the proposed hangar and development plan, capital investment, schedule, environmental and safety approach, proposed lease term, and rent. The initial lease term will be negotiated based on the value of capital improvements, with a minimum of five years and a maximum of 50 years; renewal options may be available.
