Description
Clark County is soliciting bids for an annual requirements contract covering countywide air-conditioning parts and supplies. The solicitation includes 17 packages with motors, start kits, relays, capacitors, compressors, coil-cleaning chemicals, leak detectors, vacuum pump oil, controls, filter driers, tubing, fittings, brazing supplies, cylinders, and multiple manufacturer product lines. Several packages require exact, no-substitute products, while others permit equal products and require the bidder to identify the proposed manufacturer and part number. Product-line packages require percentage discounts from the applicable manufacturer's list price. The stated estimated annual spending is $150,000 for Package 1, $40,000 for Package 2, $115,000 for Package 3, $20,000 each for Packages 4 through 13, and $25,000 each for Packages 14 through 17, totaling $535,000 annually.
