Description
Murray City is soliciting bids for the complete replacement of the existing roof systems at the Murray Park Center. The work includes removal and disposal of existing EPDM roofing, deck and substrate assessment and repairs, vapor-retarder and insulation systems, installation of a 60-mil TPO membrane roof, drainage improvements, flashings, coping and parapet work, ladder access, walk pads, site protection, cleanup, permits, supervision, and coordination while the facility remains open. The bid must include a 20-year manufacturer warranty and a minimum five-year workmanship warranty. Bidders must submit detailed pricing by roof section and unit pricing for insulation replacement, steel deck replacement, coping, wood nailers, and walk pads. Required qualifications include three roofing projects completed within the past five years, including at least one comparable project, proposed key personnel and resources, a project schedule, company and project-specific safety plans, required licenses and certifications, bid security, construction-preference documentation if claimed, and the completed bid and authority-to-sign forms. The project must be completed by February 1, 2027; the draft agreement separately states that all work and services shall be completed by January 1, 2027.
