Description
Kearns Improvement District is establishing a prequalified pool of multiple contractors for 24/7/365 on-call emergency response services involving water, wastewater, utility, and District facility emergencies. The scope includes emergency excavation and repair, water-main and sewer work, bypass pumping, temporary service restoration, lift-station and force-main support, temporary power, mechanical and electrical assistance, debris removal, site stabilization, traffic control, environmental protection, and regional disaster response. Contractors must describe their self-performed and subcontracted capabilities, mobilization and incident-command approach, staffing, equipment and material availability, safety and regulatory programs, federal grant compliance capability, relevant experience, references, licenses and certifications, and rates. The solicitation anticipates a five-year contract, with no guaranteed minimum quantity or expenditure, and may select multiple contractors for emergency work authorizations.
