Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals for leased lit-fiber Ethernet wide-area-network services, shared backbone connections, standalone Internet access, and related Category One network equipment. The procurement covers numerous education and library entities and locations, with requested capacities ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps; wireless and dark fiber are generally not accepted unless specifically requested. Installation and initial configuration are required for the listed service requests. WAN and backbone pricing is requested for five years with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing is requested for three years with two sequential one-year extensions. Vendors must submit applicable WAN or Internet cost proposals separately from the technical proposal, along with Attachment F and the Exception/Compliance Summary, and acknowledge addenda. E-Rate-supported vendors must have a USAC-issued SPIN and maintain a current FCC Form 473/SPAC; SAM.gov registration and documentation are required when federal funding is used. Multiple awards may be made by location, and all recurring and non-recurring costs must be firm and all-inclusive.
