Description
Salt Lake Community College is soliciting a complete, turnkey modernization of the three-stop ThyssenKrupp TAC20 hydraulic passenger elevator in its Student Center Building. The selected contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, engineering, coordination, permits, inspection support, testing, commissioning, documentation, and incidentals needed for a complete and code-compliant installation. The scope includes replacement of the control system, wiring interfaces, operating devices, door operators and related equipment, hydraulic jack and hydraulic components, mechanical and machine-room equipment, cab operating panels, hall stations, indicators, communication devices, and required electrical power modifications. The contractor must also address applicable elevator, life-safety, accessibility, electrical, and building-code requirements; provide temporary protection, barricades, signage, site restoration, disposal of removed materials, closeout documentation, and a minimum one-year warranty. Cab aesthetic upgrades are a separately priced alternate. Proposals must include a technical proposal, separately submitted cost proposal, financial-responsibility documentation, and, when applicable, a redacted proposal and confidentiality claim.
